FOUNDATION FOR DEVELOPMENT OF MEDICINE AND PSYCHOSOCIAL SUPPORT
Nourishing Health, Restoring the Psyche, Empowering Society
About Us
Our foundations raison d’être is to improve medical care and psychosocial support for Ukrainian citizens affected by the war, with a focus on combat veterans. We strive to create a society where everyone has the opportunity to receive the necessary treatment and support, regardless of social status or place of residence.
Main goals
The main goals of the Organization’s activities are:
– to foster the development of modern-day medicine and psychosocial care in Ukraine
– to create conditions necessary for the implementation of innovative methods of restoring health of war victims
Providing mental health support to veterans can help them heal from the trauma of military life and return to a normal, happy life.
Therapy and counseling can provide a safe space to process their experiences, understand their emotions, and develop healthy coping mechanisms when dealing with stress.
This can help reduce symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other mental health conditions that may have occurred during service.
