NGO “MedPsy Foundation” (NGO “FUNDATION FOR DEVELOPMENT OF MEDECINE AND PSYCHOSOCIAL SUPPORT “) is a non-profit organisation committed to improving medical care and psychosocial support for Ukrainian citizens.

We provide nationwide support to war-affected people, focusing on people with complex needs who are not helped through conventional treatment.

At MedPsi, we specialize in helping trauma survivors by offering a holistic approach developed to restore health, effective rehabilitation and social protection. We understand that every citizen, regardless of age or location, needs a safe space to express their challenges and receive the support they deserve.

We put a special emphasis on supporting veterans, offering a comprehensive, individualized approach that addresses all aspects of their needs. Our services are designated to help veterans navigate their needs and understand mental health services, ensuring they have informed and easy access to the support they need. At MedPsi, each individual will feel safe and at ease when seeking our help.

The main objectives and scope of activities of the MedPsi are as follows

• creating opportunities for citizens to receive high-quality, affordable and scientifically advanced medical, psychological and social and humanitarian assistance;
•  subserve the creation of organisational and legal conditions for scientific research;
• support of medical, scientific institutions and analytical centres dealing with the problems of restoring the health of war victims;
•  identifying the needs for medical and psychosocial assistance among different population groups, primarily people with mental disorders, including participants of armed conflicts and other individuals affected by armed conflicts and their consequences;
•  conducting educational work and providing up-to-date, factual and scientifically based information on the latest methods of health recovery;
•  facilitating the training and professional development of specialists, including psychotherapists and healthcare professionals, in line with the world’s best standards;
•  being conductive towards public and international public health initiatives;
•  establishing and developing relations with scientific institutions, NGOs, other individuals and legal entities involved in the problems of restoring the health of war victims in Ukraine and other countries.
